Avon Elementary School PBis Snow Cones!
To help raise money for our behavior celebrations, we will be selling snow cones for $2 on the following dates:
January 26th: Money due 1/25
February 23rd: Money due 2/22
March 28th: Money due 3/27
April 19th: Money due 4/18
We are excited to be able to offer this to students and greatly appreciate your help in raising money for all of the fun things we have planned!
A huge shoutout to Office Depot for their donation towards Teacher Appreciation Week! ๐ Thanks to their support, we were able to spruce up our lounge with brand-new furniture and stock up on much-needed supplies for our classrooms. Thank you, Office Depot, for recognizing and valuing the hard work of our teachers! ๐
Safety Reminder: With the recent time change, it will be darker in the mornings as students are walking to school and waiting for buses. Please use extra caution in school zones and near school bus stops. Letโs make sure that our first day back from break gets off to a safe start!

Avon Elementary School honored Trey the Therapy Dog by inviting him to be the grand marshal of the literacy parade! Trey is retiring from the Reading Buddies program after 5 years. ๐โค๏ธ๏ธ The Reading Buddies program allows students to read to the Therapy Dogs in a one-on-one setting, allowing students who may struggle with reading out loud in front of their friends. ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐, ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฒ๐!

Yearbooks are selling out quickly!! Make sure to purchase your book ahead of time to guarantee you receive a copy. The yearbooks are currently $20, but will increase to $25 after January 22nd. There are order forms in the front office, or you can purchase them online at BuyTheYearbook.com with our school ID#708380. Yearbooks will be delivered and distributed in May before school is out.
